Karen Thompson gave her life to the Lord in 1972. She attended North Central Bible College for two years and worked for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for eight and one-half years. She has attended Pastor Mac and Lynne Hammond’s church, Living Word Christian Center, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, since 1981. She is honored to have been part of their staff since 1983. She is a writer, editor, and proofreader; through the years, she has ghostwritten books and articles for various people.

In the 1990s, the Lord directed her to study end time prophecies starting with the book of Daniel. After she completed her study of Daniel, the Lord directed her to study the book of Revelation and then following that, the book of Zechariah. She has written down everything she learned in her studies of end time prophecies in three books: Daniel, Revelation, and Zechariah.
